    Programme Manager in Social Sciences in the College of Humanities and Law  [RF: 2016/17-FT-260-SCOL]

     

    Monthly Salary Range: HK$31,930 ˇV HK$53,040

    Duties: The appointee will assist in various aspects of programme management and development in the area of media and communications, education and organizationsˇ¦ training. The scope of duties includes programme development, programme promotion, preparation and distribution of course materials, course delivery, co-ordination and liaison with students, teachers and professional bodies, class visit, preparation of annual budget and monitoring reports

    Requirements: Candidates should have a Masterˇ¦s degree or above, with relevant qualification in Teacher Education and at least 2 years of working experience in media. They should have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Computer and audio-visual equipment knowledge and skills are also required. Experience of programme management and teaching at tertiary level will be a definite advantage.

    Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
