Head of Administration and Resources in the Institute for China Business [RF: 2017/18-FT-081-SCOL]
Duties: The appointee will support the Principal and the Director of Studies in overseeing and managing the China operation. The scope of duties include coordination, review and implementation of financial, administrative, human resources and legal related matters of the Institute and its affiliated centers on the Mainland. He/she will also be responsible to liaise with internal and external parties, prepare regular and ad hoc reports, supervise support staff and perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal and the Director of Studies.
Requirements: Candidates should possess a Masterˇ¦s degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the area of Finance or Business Management, and preferably with solid experience in the areas of Administration and Human Resources in Mainland China. They should be service-oriented, detail-minded, independent and able to work under pressure. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and supervisory skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and strong computer proficiency are required. Experience in Human Resources and Administration will be an advantage.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
