I felt an overwhelming sense of relief and joy when I finally graduated with a qualification of High Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
Before I joined this programme, I’d always been inspired to become a healthcare professional. It was not until I realised dental health plays an important and indispensable role in our well-being did I decide to apply for this programme.
In the grand scheme of things, this programme not only provided useful textbook knowledge about dental health, but also hands-on clinical sessions that took a holistic approach to treating patients.
The teachers of the programme were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They brought a lot of experience and skills to the table. I was pleased and grateful for their help and support. I was also glad that I met some friendly peers who were truly my staunch friends and allies during my study journey.
Now that I’m a qualified dental hygienist, my experience and skills have been honed to the next level. The skill set I acquired over the past few years allows my patients to get the most out of my dental service.

Being able to study LLB in City U with only 13 scores from DSE best 6 is astonishing and inspiring. Associate of Arts in Legal Studies in HKU SPACE Community College gave me the opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects in the field of law. My critical thinking and reasoning was hugely improved, needless to say, I learned various legal knowledge and how to apply them in my daily life. I had studied a higher diploma programme and a bachelor's degree programme before applying for this IT programme at HKU SPACE CC. Before joining CC, I had doubts about my career path in the future. After two years of study, I've learnt about IT knowledge throughout various assignments, group discussions, and projects. I have met many excellent lecturers, and also some great classmates. Lecturers helped me to enhance and develop my IT skills in networking and programming, they always encouraged me to strive for the best. I changed my attitude towards learning and made a great progress. This college provided me with a wonderful learning environment and atmosphere and I’ve achieved my goal at last. Future is always being unknown, do your best and cherish your opportunity to find your way eventually.

Under the situation of Covid-19, the teaching mode has changed to online mix face-to-face which is a great challenge to both lecturers and students. Lecturers in HKU SPACE CC keep doing their best to help students with any difficulties encountered patiently. I really enjoyed the time I have spent in CC with great lecturers here and friends who also studied very hard. Just feel free to ask them for advice when you need!
