Learning is a life-long journey. The past two years that I have spent at HKU SPACE Community College have been a crucial turning point for me. Undoubtedly, life is tough. However, it is true that if you work hard, it will pay off. Life in the Community College has been truly memorable and I really appreciate the way that lecturers are always ready to help us. In addition to teaching us theories, they also equip us with the skills to enter university, as this is actually a mutual goal. The two years spent at HKU SPACE CC has been essential preparation for my further studies. As an insider, I love the active learning environment among my fellow students. Added to this, I appreciate the passion of the lecturers in teaching, inspiring students' thinking as well as answering our endless questions. To me, by studying Social Sciences, particularly Politics and Administration, HKU SPACE CC has broadened my understanding of society and honed my analytical skills, I learnt to view real-life issues from various perspectives. During the two years of studies in the Higher Diploma in Dental Hygiene, I found it a very memorable experience. The unique "Problem-based Learning" teaching method has allowed me to develop logical and critical thinking which has enhanced my ability to analyse problems independently. These are important for me to work in the dental field. In addition, the clinical sessions have given me the opportunity to treat patients who have a wide range of oral health problems. It is very useful for my future career. And now, I am glad to have become one of the enroled dental hygienists in Hong Kong and I believe I can apply my knowledge and experience and contribute to the community. 查看詳情

I was very frustrated as I did not get good results in my Form 6 study. As I was very interested in the computer field, I then made a big decision and came to study in the Higher Diploma in Information Technology at HKU SPACE Community College. The programme broadened my horizons and focused on equipping students with practical skills and techniques. I also met many good friends here and really enjoyed my school life. I was admitted to the BEng (Hons) in Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong in 2010. I believe I have made a right choice. 相信不少人和我一樣，放榜後進不了自己心儀的大學。那一刻對於自己的前途，的確是十分迷茫。幸好，港大附屬學院就在前方替我照亮了那未知的道路。當初因為父母一句話：「隨著自己的興趣而選擇」，即使我從沒有讀過跟電腦相關的科目，最後亦選擇了資訊科技副學士課程。 在港大附屬學院的生活讓我的眼界擴闊了不少，亦讓我認清自律的重要性。由於自由度十分高，學習和玩樂的時間全由自己掌握。我在這裡認識了一班好朋友，大家從早到晚也在學院內，不論上堂、溫書、吃喝玩樂也在一起，大家就像一家人一樣，而港大附屬學院就是我們的家。我十分慶幸我選擇了港大附屬學院，它給予我另一個入讀大學的機會。希望大家也能夠在港大附屬學院內找到自己的興趣，認清自己的目標，掌握自己的未來。 查看詳情
