What you could achieve in this programme is inconceivable! To a large extent, this programme creates a platform for us to equip ourselves well before working in this competitive society. Apart from lectures, site visits to different kinds of libraries and information centres are arranged, giving us chances to explore more about the inner side of library work. Lai Tsz Kiu, Lexie 2011-13 Graduate of Higher Diploma in Dental Hygiene

‘Practical’ is the word that I use to describe this 2-year Higher Diploma course in Dental Hygiene. I was surprised by the methods of training which have equipped me not only with the knowledge in dental aspects but also provided me with holistic development. The Problem-based learning (PBL) module is incredibly useful in training my critical thinking as well as my organising skills. Definitely, the experience that I acquired from this module can be applied and be very useful to my future studies and work. Moreover, the experience that I gained from the Clinical Training module, which was run side by side with the PBL module, can be applied in managing my patients as well as in other work situations. After graduating from the Higher Diploma in Aviation Studies with a merit result, I have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management while working at Sky Shuttle Helicopters Limited as a Flight Operations Officer simultaneously. Currently, I am studying a master’s degree to further enhance my knowledge in Aviation. The Higher Diploma programme has equipped me with sufficient knowledge and practical techniques to deal with various tasks in aviation. I am glad that I made the right decision four years ago – to be part of the Higher Diploma programme. It is because the knowledge that I have acquired is applicable in my job.
