This was an unforgettable experience of studying at HKU SPACE CC. I felt a huge relief studying on the KEC campus for two years. I studied with my friends and learned a lot of valuable knowledge from the lectures. Those experiences can allow me to have a good elementary base to handle the workload of my university life. Throughout my time at HKU SPACE CC, during the first semester, I was shy about asking questions and didn’t seek any help from the lecturer or classmates. So, I received a bad grade in the first semester; after that, I met some new friends in the second semester and formed a study group. And we will encourage each other to improve ourselves and ask questions. That leads to a closer relationship between us and our lecturers. We received immense support from our lecturers, and the experience gained by courses and projects was invaluable. Currently, I am pursuing my BEng in Electronic Engineering at HKUST. The knowledge that I gained in HKU SPACE CC is enough to support my study at HKUST, especially those project experiences that can provide me with more confidence in presentation and academic writing. My advice to future students is not to be lazy, not to be a free rider, and never to hesitate to seek help from their lecturers or classmates.
