My two years at HKU SPACE CC have been very fruitful. The Higher Diploma of Business programme gave me insights into the fundamental aspects of business, such as accounting, banking and marketing. At first, I was unsure about my career path when I was choosing my major. Thanks to the supportive lecturers and the mentorship programme, I was able to receive practical academic advice, as well as refine my interpersonal skills, which will be undoubtedly crucial for my personal development. If there is one word that can precisely describe my two-year journey here, this must be "FRUITFUL". When I first entered this community college, I was in a state of self-denial due to the failure in public examination. Fortunately, HKU SPACE CC has provided a platform for me to self reflect and rethink my life goal. I feel thankful to have met many kind and helpful lecturers from social sciences domain. They helped me to go through a myriad of difficulties such as assignments and university interviews. It is also important to have mutual support from HKU SPACE CC friends in this fruitful journey. Besides, I have changed my own mindset and leant to think critically towards everything. I was acting like a robot at my secondary school years, such as just following everyone without my own critical judgment. Through studying sociology, I am equipped to think bigger. Not only focus on the individual but also to be aware of the outside world. Just because one never experiences it doesn't mean the outside world doesn't exist. I never say studying associate degree is the end of the story. Instead, it is a brand new chapter. Remember to have faith and everything will work out. 查看詳情

HKU SPACE is a good place for students to realize their shortcomings while at the same time prepare them for their university studies. I learned it in a hard way that confidence is a good thing which guides me to my goal, but overdoing it will usually lead me to the otherwise. I have great aspiration in aviation, that's why I chose the Aviation Studies in HKU SPACE Community College in 2012. Throughout the two years, other than the knowledge taught by lecturer, the college also provides us opportunity to work at the airport or with different airlines. Luckily, I had a chance to work at Jardine Aviation Services as a ground staff. Although I only worked for a short period, I really enjoyed working in the field that I love. I am currently working in the Customer Service Department at Cathay Pacific. The time here is wonderful. Hope that other aviation-lovers can also find themselves from this programme. 查看詳情
