After HKDSE, I enrolled into the Higher Diploma in Marketing program at HKU SPACE Community College to explore a new career path after some guidance from my family members. Throughout the last two years, I had gained an increased awareness of my strengths and weaknesses and for another pathway to university. The programme has covered extensive marketing concepts and theories, practical skills for today's world, and useful elements such as group projects and presentations which hones my creativity, critical thinking and communication skills. All my lecturers were knowledgeable and supportive, they made lessons engaging with real case studies and their own experiences in the industry. They were also enthusiastic to help students with any questions or difficulties. Overall, I'm grateful for the holistic education I received throughout this programme. Lam Chin Shing Jason 2023-2025, Higher Diploma in Information Technology - Computing and Data Science Theme

I wasn't a successful candidate in the HKDSE examination as I didn't meet the university's minimum entrance requirement. Luckily, HKU SPACE CC offered me a place so that I could be "reborn" and pursue my aspiration again. Owing to my passion for computers, I enrolled in the HDIT programme, which solidified my foundations in IT and trained me to be responsible and capable. I appreciate the rich hands-on experience and lecturers who diligently equip students with the necessary knowledge. I am grateful that the college has also provided many outreach activities such as study tours and the Student Representative Scheme, which enriches my college life and helps me establish wider social connections. If you are admitted into this programme next academic year, I encourage you to actively engage with lecturers and other hardworking students. HKU SPACE CC provided comprehensive studies to all ANS students, from theoretical knowledge to clinical skills. The well-organized curriculum helped me to have a perfect articulation with my university studies. Also, with various opportunities for Practicum, I was able to experience what was like working in a community centre, rehabilitation centre, and hospital. To me, HKU SPACE CC is not only a school that provides great opportunities and nursing knowledge for us to articulate back to university, but it is also a brilliant opportunity to examine what we want to achieve now, later in university, and the future.
