Studying HDLIM was enjoyable and I am delighted by my choice. I am grateful that the lecturers and senior students were always there to help when needed. Besides lectures, this programme also provides site visits and work placements for us. I did my placements in international school and university libraries, as well as a special library. Yu Hiu Fung, Anson 2015-16 Associate of Health Science (Biomedical Sciences) (Year 2)

The study in Associate Degree of Biomedical Science provided me with opportunities to have a deeper exploration into the field of Medical Science. The courses provided by this programme are diverse and covered most of the essential knowledge in health science which is useful for the further study in healthcare professionals such as Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science. Apart from the academic life, the Community College also provides various activities for us to join. For example, I have joined the Tainan study tour and Voluntary service organised by the Student Development and Counselling Service. Last but not least, the failure in HKDSE is not equal to desperation. I appreciate that the HKU SPACE Community College gave me a second chance to pursue my goal to study in university. 查看詳情

I did not believe I would have an opportunity to study in The University of Hong Kong when my HKDSE result was released. However, HKU SPACE Community College provided me a second chance to pursue my university goal, with a quality education delivered by its Engineering Programme Team. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all lecturers who have taught me in the past year. Dickson Cheuk The Airport Authority Hong Kong - Operation Officer, Airfield

Upon the completion of the Higher Diploma in Aviation Studies programme, I am well equipped with a concrete foundation of knowledge and skills regarding Airport and Airline Operations, Air Traffic Management and Aviation Security and Contingency Planning, etc. Through this programme, I’m pleased to have an opportunity to work in Heliservices as a part-time Casual Junior Duty Controller organised by the Internship programme. Through these experiences, not only have I equipped myself with various ground handling techniques, I have also developed strong critical appraisal skills in the aviation field. Now I’m working as an Airport Authority Operation officer in the Airfield department, not only has this programme enriched my aviation knowledge in airport management, it has also provided me with an opportunity to put my knowledge into practice.
