New Media and Communication (NMC) offers education, opportunities and resources to students who are interested in pursuing in the field of media. I didn’t have any background in art or filming, but I was given the chance to gain knowledge and guidance from the professors. This course includes the fundamentals, advanced techniques and theories used on practical works, such as filming, photography, copywriting, animation and much more. The knowledge and experience learned from NMC aren’t just limited in their own fields, but rather become cross-disciplinary. Aside from giving quality education and suitable learning environments, students are given opportunities to apply learned skills in actual work. My class was offered to assist in an Ocean Park event photoshoot and PUBG mobile game tournament photo and video shoot. Students were tasked with the responsibility of getting quality photos and footage to clients, while also building up connections with classmates and other students from different courses. I once thought that the DSE would leave an indelible mark on me. After rushing into the workforce and going through several years, I realized how valuable education really is. Eventually, I decided to return to CC to major inKorean Studies. Here, I fought side by side with like-minded classmates and received dedicated guidance from my teachers. In the end, I achieved my goal and got into HKU. 剛開始入讀CC時，曾對自己的未來升學感到憂慮，很多時都擔心讀到最後收不到心儀學校的offer而白白浪費兩年時間。幸好，在這裏遇上的每一位lecturer都很樂意解答我課堂和功課上的疑問，最緊要自己願意主動尋求幫助。同時，兩年間與同學、老師的相處和交流也為我 帶來待人處事的經驗，內心得到不少成長。雖則每次查看成績時都不免戰戰兢兢，但最終的成果令我覺得一切的努力都是值得的。希望入讀CC的同學都可以在此有所收穫，順利向自己理想的未來邁進。 查看详情

时日如飞，回想起当初选择入读中文专业传意高级文凭时，内心十分忐忑不安。DSE的失利，面对新学校的紧张，他人质疑的眼光，都在两年的时间中转化成努力和汗水。课后一次次和老师的交谈，和志向相同的同学一起奋斗，都令这两年博尽无悔的旅程变得多彩。而现在入了大学，发觉高级文凭课程学到的知识是多么有用之后，又后悔当时没有更加努力……只期望现在能和当初一样不忘初心，继续向前。最后，也给入读了本课程的师弟师妹一些鼓励：不要因为暂时的得失而胆怯。 查看详情
