I especially appreciate the programme’s thoughtful structure — every course feels intentionally designed to build both theoretical understanding and practical skills step by step. My time at CC also deepened my growth as a learner, shaping me not only academically but personally. Although the programme can be demanding, the unwavering support and encouragement from lecturers truly make a difference. As I sit down to reflect on the past two years of my life, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of accomplishment and gratitude. I recently graduated with my Higher Diploma in Dental Hygiene, and the journey has been both challenging and immensely rewarding. From the very beginning, I was fortunate to have lovely tutors. They guided us with patience and expertise, sharing their own experiences and providing invaluable feedback that truly enhanced our learning. Beyond academic instruction, they offered mental support, always encouraging us during those tough times. One of the highlights of my diploma course was the clinical training. This hands-on experience was invaluable, allowing us to apply theoretical knowledge to clinical practice, also training our scaling skills. We not only learned technical skills and dental knowledge but also critical patient management skills that will undoubtedly be helpful throughout our careers. We had access to adequate equipment and resources for learning, which made a significant difference in our educational experience. Additionally, the programme involved various outreach activities, where we engaged with communities, educating citizens the proper dental hygiene knowledge. These experiences on one hand make me feel fulfilling, on the other, reinforced the importance of our profession in promoting public health. Looking back, I am immensely grateful for the growth I've experienced in these two years. Practical assessments and paper work left me exhausted. However, every moment of fatigue was worth it when I looked back at the skills I gained and the knowledge I accumulated.
