This programme had indeed inspired me to explore different cultural aspects such as film, creative industries, advertising, and local and daily life's culture. I get to know the knowledge about how media affect and profit in divergent creative groups, along with the function and history of those cultural categories. I am truly grateful for the amazing individuals and opportunities that I encountered at HKU SPACE CC. It was an honor to be a part of such a supportive and academic community during my continuing education. The strong academic atmosphere at HKU SPACE CC provided me with an ideal environment for studying and learning. The lecturers were always willing to assist and foster my academic progress, and students were determined to achieve bachelor’s degrees and better career prospects. I was able to find supportive study partners throughout my journey at HKU SPACE CC. The Data Science (DS) programme was a highlight of my life experience. This programme not only deepened my knowledge in data mining and data visualization, but it also kept me up to date with the latest trends in the field, particularly in the hot topic of big data. One of the reasons I chose this programme was because of its affiliation with the engineering department. It offered courses such as “Machine Learning” and “Data Structures and Algorithms”, which gave me the confidence I needed to pursue further study at the university majoring engineering and science. During the two years of studies in the Higher Diploma in Dental Hygiene, I found it a very memorable experience. The unique "Problem-based Learning" teaching method has allowed me to develop logical and critical thinking which has enhanced my ability to analyse problems independently. These are important for me to work in the dental field. In addition, the clinical sessions have given me the opportunity to treat patients who have a wide range of oral health problems. At the age of information explosion, information comes in many forms. Many organisations and establishments require information professionals to manage and organise different materials. This programme assisted me to make adequate preparation and be well-prepared for becoming an information professional. The lectures were interactive and many interesting activities were provided such as designing a leaflet, making a fascinating display for kids to cultivate their reading habits, interviewing professional cataloguers, and visiting libraries.
