I am glad to have had a chance to study in the HKU SPACE Community College. During this two-year period, I have learnt a wide range of financial knowledge and skills as well as a lot of support and help from my sincere lecturers. This has prepared me well for future study and career development.

Two years ago, I finished my HKDSE examination. Although the result displeased me, I hoped I could get into university one day. Therefore, I chose this programme because I knew would have a chance to study in higher education after this. I think this programme has helped me a lot in giving me a clear vision of where I am heading. Besides, I also improved my learning skills through studying different subjects. 當年文憑試放榜那種晴天霹靂的感覺，真是一生難忘。以我的成績，升上大學的機會只有一半。於是，我上網搜尋提供副學士課程的院校。起初我並無注意到港大附屬學院，但當向師長、友人查詢時，他們不約而同地推介這學院。於是我便報讀了港大附屬學院。 剛開始時，我對學院各方面都相當陌生。幸好，學院有完善的配套去支援學生，講師都關心我們。雖然對部分同學來說，學院的課程或會較艱深，但只要我們主動尋求協助，講師都會樂意為同學解決疑難，助同學跟上進度，打好基礎。除此之外，學院理科的課程經過悉心編排，配合實驗課，讓我們掌握相關的技巧 。 入讀學院之後我再次反思自己的興趣，認清人生目標，很快適應大學的上課模式及校園生活，可謂獲益良多。 其實，以前我不敢奢望能夠升上香港大學。所以，在港大附屬學院讀書，只要肯下定決心，奮發向上，絕對會有意想不到的結果！ 查看詳情

When I received my HKDSE result, I felt lost but I did not lose my hope. I chose to continue my study in Higher Diploma in Engineering in HKU SPACE Community College. The knowledge and skills I learnt in this programme were very useful. Also, the lecturers I met here were very professional, kind and helpful, who were so willing to stay behind to teach us! The learning atmosphere here fueled up my passion to study hard and I would like to express my deepest thanks to all lecturers. I was a Form 7 repeater in 2010 and 2011 and failed to obtain admission to a local university. I was disappointed with my poor HKALE results, but fortunately I was encouraged by my family to join the Higher Diploma programme in Engineering at HKU SPACE Community College. The programme not only provided me with essential engineering skills, but also established my confidence in learning again, which enabled me to successfully gain admission to the Bachelor of Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. The curriculum at AAMCCS is interesting and broad-based. It allowed me to learn the interrelationship between space and people and the visual experience in a community. In addition, the various elective courses allowed me to learn the knowledge that I am interested in, as well as be exposed to more diverse knowledge in other fields, allowing me to broaden my horizons and explore more interests. Meanwhile, various talks held from time to time enabled me to learn more knowledge beyond textbooks, such as working experience in different creative industries.
