About the College

Established to provide quality sub-degree education for Secondary School graduates, HKU SPACE Community College has gained extensive popularity and high recognition in the community. Founded in 2000 as Hong Kong’s premier community college, the College offers a comprehensive range of award-bearing programmes in different disciplines. 

The College has a vibrant student population of around 13,000 with over 35 Associate Degree and Higher Diploma programmes. Academic-oriented Associate Degree programmes focus on broad-based education to prepare students for further studies at degree level, while professionally-oriented Higher Diploma programmes offer training in specialised skills and equip students for career development. Successful completion of any academic programme offered by the College leads to an award within The University of Hong Kong system through HKU SPACE.
