Practice-based Learning - Summer Intensive Course

The College launched a 3-week summer intensive course on practice-based learning on 1 June.  Practice-based learning is a self-directed, action oriented and solution focused learning pedagogy. The course aims to motivate students’ enthusiasm in knowledge seeking, develop their skills, attitudes and ethics required for problem identification and solving, and clearly convey ideas through proper means. During the course, students have to integrate their problem solving skills by delivering solutions to a problem presented by a particular target group.

This course can provide students with an understanding of real-work environment in an industry; and the opportunity to acquire a greater appreciation of the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of real-life problems.
