English Adventure Programme (21-24 July 2015)
The English Adventure Programme held by HKU SPACE Community College has brought together 70 high school students from three local secondary schools, namely, Fanling Kau Yan College, Gertrude Simon Lutheran College and SWCS Chan Pak Sha School. Throughout this four-day event, CC has engaged all student participants in multi-disciplinary activities with a games-based approach.
High schools students have been exposed to the unique English learning environment at CC through a series of thought-provoking mass games and discipline-specific workshops, which cover the fields of aviation, journalism, business, IT, psychology and culture and media. The field trip led by our College Principal, Professor Chan Lung Sang, has also enriched students’ understanding of the natural habitat in Sai Kung.
