Professional Vision, Chinese Edge
In 2016, Hong Kong’s total trade with Mainland China reached 3,860 billion Hong Kong dollars, amounting to 50.8% of Hong Kong's total trade. The Chinese language has been playing an important role as the primary communication tool for Hong Kong's commercial activities and the demand for Chinese professionals in the Hong Kong business community has become increasingly strong. In view of this, the College will offer a new Higher Diploma in Chinese Professional Communication from September 2018 to provide students with comprehensive and professional Chinese writing and Putonghua training to meet the needs of the community and the industry. Graduates are expected to flourish in different areas such as culture, education, media, public relations, and administration.
The College is going to hold an information session - "Professional Vision, Chinese Edge" to introduce the programme structure, course contents, articulation pathways, and career prospects of the new programme in details.
