Message from College Principal: Teaching Arrangement Updates
2021年02月24日Dear Students,
Wishing you a healthy and happy Year of the Ox!
The College encourages students to attend classes in person as much as possible. Such in-person interactions are important for students not only for learning but also building connections with teachers and other students, which are invaluable for their continuing academic and career pursuits. Furthermore, certain teaching components such as practical and field work cannot be effectively replaced by virtual learning. Even though the COVID-19 situation seems improving, some students have expressed their concerns and prefer to stay at home for classes. To address students’ health and other concerns, we will provide students with the option of attending scheduled classes real-time via Zoom instead of attending classes in person. To facilitate the College in making proper arrangement, students who wish to attend live-streamed lectures are required to fill in a form (https://ccform.hkuspace.hku.hk/form/lessons-online-3) by 5:00pm this Friday (26 Feb 2021). Once the students choose this option, it would be applicable to all courses taken by the students in this semester. The College will inform the teachers concerned accordingly. If students wish to make any change for the month of April, they will be required to fill in the form again in end of March.
Students are encouraged to consult course lecturers and/or counsellors if you encounter any difficulties in learning.
Stay vigilant and wish to meeting you on campus soon!
