In response to the increasing demand for design professionals in Hong Kong, the College offers this programme with an aim to develop both the conceptual thinking and technical capabilities of young people who aspire to become designers.

Programme Aims & Features

This programme aims to provide a conceptual and technical foundation for students aspiring to a career in interior design. Students will be prepared for both employment and further degree studies at local or overseas universities, and be equipped with professional and practical knowledge. The teaching team comprises professional designers, registered architects and experienced academics. Our programme is well recognised and supported by the industry of interior design and professional associations.

Professional Recognition

Students are eligible to apply for student membership of the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA).

Job Placement

Internship Scheme, sponsored by One Plus Partnership Ltd to provide internship opportunities for students to be professional designers.

Achievements

For three consecutive years, students have won the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards organised by the Hong Kong Interior Design Association. The awards include an Excellence Medal in 2012; Silver Medal and two awards from the Best 10 in 2013; Best 10 award in 2014 from Student Category.

M. Moser Interior Design Awards

M. Moser Interior Design Awards, sponsored by M. Moser Associates Ltd, to be awarded to the best four final year students of the Higher Diploma in Interior Design.

Vespa Scholarships in Interior Design

Vespa Scholarships in Interior Design, sponsored by E. Bon Building Materials Co Ltd to be awarded to students of the Higher Diploma in Interior Design who have excellent academic performance.

Admission Interview

Qualified applicants should bring along with you a simple portfolio to the admissions interview. A portfolio can include sketchbook, drawings, photos etc.
