Cultural and Study Tour to Inner Mongolia, China
In June 2024, 21 students participated in a 7-day Cultural and Study Tour to Inner Mongolia, China. The study tour was designed to provide participants with deep appreciation for the local culture and lifestyle. Participants engaged in a variety of hands-on activities, such as living in a yurt, wearing traditional attire, practising archery on the prairie, visiting historical sites and museums, and more. These enriching engagements allowed students to experience the local way of life firsthand and deepened their understanding of the culture and history of Inner Mongolia. A key highlight of the tour was a visit to a tertiary college, where participants had the opportunity to interact with local students, engage in activities, and exchange personal stories. This cultural exchange not only enhanced their communication and interpersonal skills, but also broadened their cross-cultural awareness.
