Korean Language Tour in Seoul, South Korea

17 students participated in a 14-day Korean Language Study Tour in June 2024.  Amid the influence of globalization, Korean pop culture has emerged as a captivating trend among young people.  That said, the trip has indeed sparked great interest among our students.  All participants were enrolled in a 10-day Korean course, which lasted for 8 hours each day at Konkuk University.  Throughout the course, students got to grips with the fundamentals of the Korean language and their practical application.  Among these pupils, five students possessing a solid foundation of the language were nominated to attend an advanced Korean course, to further improve their understanding of Korean grammar and language usage.  In the end, all students successfully completed the course and were awarded certificates of completion from Konkuk University, a testament to their effort and commitment. 

Additionally, these students embarked on visits to various exotic locations and experience Korean cultural activities, such as relaxing in the soothing warmth of Jjimjilbang (汗蒸幕), a traditional bathhouse in Korea.  Adorned in exquisite Hanbok (韓服), students strolled through the scenic streets of a local village (北村韓屋村). Their adventure continued at HiKR Ground (好客空間), a dynamic Korean tourism center where visitors could immerse themselves in the pulsating rhythms of K-Pop music together with striking media art.
