AIA Reaccreditation of Associate of Business Administration programme

The Associate of Business Administration (ABA) programme offered by HKU SPACE Community College has successfully attained another 5-year reaccreditation by The Association of International Accountants (AIA). Graduates of the ABA programme (1.1.2023 to 31.12.2028) are qualified for exemption from those papers if they have passed the relevant courses under the ABA programme. 

Established in 1928, AIA is a leading professional body for accountants and finance professionals with a long-standing reputation for excellence in professional education and a dynamic global membership. 

Based in the United Kingdom, AIA has an established history of improving professional skills and ethical standards across the sector; members are recognised, respected and regulated. The Hong Kong Branch was formed in 1973 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023. 

The successful completion of the reaccreditation exercise signifies the quality of the ABA programme which meets the professional education standard and requirements of professional accountancy programmes recognized by AIA.
