HKU SPACE Community College Delegation Visited Chongqing Secondary Schools

With the arrangement and coordination of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Division of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government Foreign Affairs Office in Chinese Mainland, a delegation from HKU SPACE Community College visited Chongqing for a two-day institutional exchange from 16 to 17 April 2026. The  College Vice Principal (Administration) Dr Shirley Chow led the delegation to visit Chongqing Nankai Secondary School, Chongqing No. 1 Secondary School, Chongqing Luneng Bashu Secondary School, and Chongqing Bashu Ivy School, where they engaged in in-depth discussions with the schools’ leadership teams, introduced the College’s sub-degree programmes and the Diploma in Foundation Studies (e-learning mode), and explored potential areas for collaboration. During the visit, the delegation toured campus facilities and exchanged views on students’ progression pathways and future cooperation.

This visit to Chongqing not only deepened mutual understanding between the College and these secondary schools but also laid a solid foundation for future school exchanges, educational cooperation, and more cross-regional learning opportunities.
