The 21st Graduation Ceremony
To share happiness with the graduates and mark this memorable moment in their life, the HKU SPACE Community College organised the 21st Graduation Ceremony on 20 October 2022 in the Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
Officiated at the ceremony, Professor Ian Holliday, Chairman of Board of Directors of HKU SPACE, addressed the audience with an inspiring speech. He said that graduates had a fruitful learning journey with the relentless support of the College, their teachers, families and friends, and welcomed them as part of the HKU alumni family.
Sending congratulations and words of wisdom, Professor William K.M. Lee, Director of HKU SPACE, said that there was always a solution to a problem. He encouraged the graduates to be open-minded and flexible when facing obstacles. Professor Sonny S.H. Lo, Acting College Principal, highly appreciated students’ adaptability, independence, patience, and determination during the pandemic and wished they could continue to maximise their potential.
During the ceremony, Outstanding Teacher Awards were given to lecturers to acknowledge their contributions to the College. Scholarships and other awards were also presented to graduates who had excellent academic results or outstanding services to the campus community.
The College would like to congratulate all graduates again and wish them a bright future.
